Alma Lodge Hotel Stockport

Location is excellent, right in the city center and easily accessible from major attractions. the staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating, always willing to help with any queries or requests. the breakfast served at the hotel was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

The bed in the room was a bit uncomfortable, and the mattress seemed to sag in the middle. the bathroom could have been better heated, as it was quite cold in there.

The location was very convenient, with easy access to transport into Manchester centre. It was also within walking distance of Stockport center, making it a great choice for exploring the area. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with big rooms available in both the old and new blocks. The staff were friendly and provided great customer service.

The breakfast could have been better.

Unbeatable position in the very very nice area, very close to a suburb as well as the hospital. Caring staff and quick to respond. A wide range of good food for buffet breakfast. We had painless check-in on arrival.

The breakfast had lots of options, including pastries, cereals, toast and eggs. We got a tidy room with a comfortable bed. Really enjoyed very quick check-in and late check-out.

As foreign tourists, we loved the cheerful and attentive staff, 24-hour porter service, and comfortable beds. The breakfast selection was great, and the staff serving were kind and polite. a lovely place to stay.

This hotel is a great value for the price. The rooms are spacious and tidy, with comfy beds and basic amenities. The location along the main road, just outside Stockport centre, was convenient for our trip to the Etihad stadium. The staff were friendly and helpful.
